What Happens When We Pray

Prayer is the engine that drives everything we do as ministers of the gospel. Nothing significant in the kingdom of heaven will happen unless it's preceded by prayer. When we pray, our hearts and minds align with our Heavenly Father's will. The throne room of heaven is accessible to us mere mortals, and we are, once again, reminded of His infinite love for us; that we are no longer slaves, but He calls us friends.

Our Prayer Gatherings have been reminders of this truth as ABNWT credential holders and team members gather for a time of prayer and sharing together. We are not alone in ministry, and when we realize that we are a part of this tribe, we gain confidence and connection, and we collaborate. Our desire is to be "better together," and this is exemplified in our Prayer Gatherings.

Prayer Gatherings are meant for prayer

We want to give as much time as we can to pray. We need to pray for one another, for our ministries and for the 4.4 million souls in our ABNWT region. Prayer aligns us with His purposes for our ministries and our regions. Praying for one another allows us to share our burdens and lift one another up. We desire to hear the voice of God in these moments.

Prayer Gatherings connect us together

If you feel isolated and alone in ministry, it can be a long and lonely road. We design our prayer gatherings as a time to connect and collaborate with one another. Drawing ministers together by region is a way we can find ways to collaborate and connect. Having a "team-based" approach to ministry helps with sustainability and accountability.

Prayer Gatherings are opportunities to learn together

We always couple these gatherings with a "lunch and learn" because we want to make the most of the opportunity to grow together. When the leader learns and grows, the whole organization grows. We share the vision and learn together in an environment that is safe, allows discussion, and creates belonging. To see our ministries continue to grow and flourish, we must be deeply committed to our own personal growth.

Prayer Gatherings are for your whole team

Everyone is welcome to join. Bring out as many as you can to connect with the larger team, and let's continue to see soul-winning, disciple-making churches and ministries in this coming season.
