WHO WE ARE
The Alberta & Northwest Territories District is a family of churches, pastors, chaplains, missionaries, and ministry leaders united around one mission.
We are part of The Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada, serving churches across one of the most diverse and strategic regions in our nation—from major urban centres to small towns, Indigenous communities, and remote northern communities.
We believe the local church is God's plan for reaching the world.
Our role is not simply to oversee churches.
Our role is to serve them.
As a District Resource Centre, we exist to come alongside churches and leaders with encouragement, resources, coaching, and practical support that helps them become healthier, stronger, and more effective in reaching people with the Gospel.
OUR VALUES
-
SPIRIT-EMPOWERED
We believe lasting Kingdom impact happens through the presence and power of the Holy Spirit. We depend on God, pursue His direction, and believe He still empowers His Church today.
-
CATALYTIC LEADERSHIP
We believe leaders create movement. We invest in leaders who inspire faith, develop others, and courageously pursue God's calling.
-
HEALTHY CHURCHES
We believe healthy churches make disciples, serve their communities, multiply leaders, and expand the Kingdom of God.
-
KINGDOM MULTIPLICATION
We are committed to multiplication—not simply maintaining what exists, but seeing disciples, leaders, churches, and ministries multiply.
-
BETTER TOGETHER
We believe we are stronger together. Through relationship, collaboration, generosity, and shared mission, we can accomplish more than we ever could alone.

OUR VALUES
EVERY COMMUNITY.
EVERY NEIGHBOURHOOD.
EVERY GENERATION.
EVERY PERSON MATTERS TO GOD.
Across Alberta and the Northwest Territories, more than 5 million people call this region home. They are our neighbours, our friends, our families, and our communities.
They represent more than a statistic.
They represent souls created in the image of God, deeply loved by Him, and in need of the hope found in Jesus.
We believe this is one of the greatest Gospel opportunities of our generation.
The Alberta & Northwest Territories District exists for one reason:
To interrupt the trend of decreasing Christianity in Canada.
We refuse to believe spiritual decline is inevitable.
We believe the Gospel is still the hope of the world. We believe the local church is still God's primary strategy for reaching people. We believe the Holy Spirit is still calling and empowering leaders who will courageously step into God's mission.
Our prayer is to see people experience Jesus, lives transformed, communities impacted, and people from every corner of Alberta and the Northwest Territories bowing before Christ in worship.
Canada is one of the greatest mission fields in the world.
With more than 44 million people across our nation, the Gospel opportunity before us is enormous.
We believe God has placed the Church in Canada for such a time as this.
Our mission is not simply to preserve what has been.
Our mission is to participate in what God is doing.
We are committed to seeing healthy, multiplying churches reach their communities with the hope of Jesus and make disciples who make disciples.
As one of over 450 credential holders in the ABNWT District of The Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada, you have a unique opportunity to make an impact in the lives of over 5 million souls in our region. As Christ-followers, our mission is clear: to make disciples who make disciples.
