Gary led in one of our growing metro churches for 36 years, then transitioned to be our District Superintendent in 2017. His hope is that your District team will be your single most helpful resource in leading and growing your church. His goal is that 80% of our churches will be experiencing incremental growth within the next three years.

Stephen was raised in the Northeast U.S., has been in ministry for 24 years, and has served as a campus minister, church planter, and pastor. He currently is privileged to serve Newcomers who have come from the Middle East to Canada. He and his wife Manjula have been married for 18 years, and they have two children, Paul and Charissa.

 

CONNIE JAKAB

Connie Jakab is a creative church leader, entrepreneur, church planter, and coach. She has worked in full-time church ministry in East Vancouver and has served as the Children's Ministry Director for the BCYD PAOC District. She works on reaching people on the fringes, such as the artistic and LGBTQ2+ community. She and her husband are restoring “HOME” with their company, The Jakab Co., where they renovate houses while coaching marriages and parents. She is also the author of the Bring Them Closer Series and works within schools to reimagine mental health for youth.

 

DEBBIE KUNST

Lead Pastor
Edmonton Father’s House

Debbie is the Lead Pastor of Edmonton Father’s House. She has been married to Robert for 42 years, and together they have three adult children, as well as a growing number of grandchildren. Serving Jesus is the focus of her life. In addition to pastoring in the inner city, Debbie also serves on the ABNWT PAOC District Lead Team and with Mission Canada on the Urban Guiding Group.

 

KEITH JOHNSTON

Executive Director
Shiloh Youth Ranch

Keith is the Executive Director of Shiloh Youth Ranch. He has been involved since he first started volunteering at age 16. Shiloh is an Edmonton-based, non-profit organization that provides programming for high-risk children and youth. Keith’s role includes fundraising, vision-casting, and strategic planning. Keith obtained his Bachelor’s Degree from Vanguard College in 2007. He and his wife, Kandice, have 3 kids, Hadley (9), Annalise (8), and Gideon (6). Keith likes spending time outdoors and enjoys back-country hiking. He also is a massive Edmonton Oilers fan and enjoys Fantasy Football.

 

JOSH DEWLING

Executive Director
Kids on Track

Josh serves as the Executive Director of Kids On Track, a local Christian charity in Edmonton. He's passionate about creating opportunities for the unchurched and those who would rarely think about walking through a set of church doors on a Sunday morning. Josh attends and serves at North Pointe Community Church with his wife, Ainslay, and their two daughters, Emerson and Nora.

 

ANDREW HANSEN

Youth Rise

Andrew is the Executive Director and founder of Youth Rise, which is a prevention-based youth organization in Alberta. Its primary focus is to empower youth from vulnerable communities to rise to their full, God-given potential. He has a passion for young people who are facing adversity and are difficult to reach through traditional means. Andrew understands the uniqueness that local churches and nonprofits bring to move God’s kingdom forward. He is passionate about creating unity and synergy between these two worlds to make a dynamic difference in our culture.

 

JESSICA DISABATINO

Lead Pastor
Journey Church, Calgary

Jessica is a renowned communicator in both business environments and the Church. Following the death of her younger brother, Jess and her dad founded MySafeWork, a philanthropic initiative to bring justice to workplaces in Canada and around the world. For this ground-breaking work, Jess received a Governor General’s Award in 2016. In tandem with her foundation work, Jess has pastored in various churches for over twenty years and currently serves as lead pastor of Journey Church in Calgary. When Jess is not playing with her husband and four kids or her Goldendoodle, Nacho, she is busy resurrecting her 1980s rap career.

 

JEREMIAH RAIBLE

Jeremiah works as an Effectiveness Coach with the ABNWT District of the PAOC. He is a passionate and creative leader who believes that the church is the hope of the world. He uses collaboration, innovation, and inspiration to challenge churches and their leadership to engage in the only mission Jesus ever sent his church on: making disciples.

 

JIM MOORE

Calgary Dream Centre

Jim Moore is the founding member of the Calgary Dream Centre (CDC). Jim served as the President of the Calgary Real Estate Board and was the past President of Canada Trust Real Estate in Toronto, all the while contributing his time and talents to mentor youth through serving on many Boards and community-building initiatives. With unwavering passion and drive to change lives, Jim entered the nonprofit world after many years of his leadership in business, real estate, and banking. Jim is a DREAMER who has always been known as a man of vision and faith, with great love for people. 

 

KELLY JOHNSON

Pentecostal Chaplain
Calgary University Campus Ministries

Kelly has served as the Pentecostal Chaplain on Calgary's post-secondary campuses through University Campus Ministries for the past 28 years. This includes a ministry of hospitality for the last several years, which has paired more than 1000 international students with local families to provide meaningful friendships. Kelly and his wife, Barb, met during their first degrees, have four grown kids, and have travelled in many countries of the world together.

 

CRAIG & STEPHANIE HILL

Calgary Dream Centre | Imagine Church

Craig joined the team at First Assembly Church in Calgary in 1997, where he and his wife, Stephanie, gave oversight to Tehillah Master’s Commission. Following the leading of the Lord in 2004, Craig and Stephanie moved into the marketplace where they developed a successful real estate business. Quite unexpectedly, in 2015 they accepted an invitation by the lead Pastor of Imagine Church to ‘help.’ Little did they know that in a matter of weeks, ‘help’ would soon turn into ‘lead’. Since then, they’ve provided Senior leadership to Imagine Church with the focus on serving the spiritual needs of the Calgary Dream Centre (CDC), a ministry they had been part of birthing in 2003. In 2021, Craig became the Executive Director of the CDC, while Stephanie continues in the role of Lead Pastor of Imagine Church. 

Together, they are passionate about loving God, loving people, impacting culture, and creating environments where people thrive.  More than anything else, Craig and Stephanie love doing life together and spending time with their four AMAZING kids.
