You and your team of leaders are invited to join us for Elements 2027. We will be hosting this three-day retreat at Sunnyside Christian Retreat Centre. This is a time for youth pastors and youth leaders in our District to connect, recharge, and ground themselves in the fundamental elements of ministry.

Mark and Jenni both currently fill roles at the BC and Yukon District of the PAOC. Jenni serves as the Children and Family Ministry Director, and Mark as the Director of Emerging Leaders. Their journey in ministry began in a small church in Paris, ON, and since then, they have over 40 years of combined experience in Next Gen Ministries. They are parents to 4 children, have gained 2 sons-in-law and 2 granddaughters, who are their current obsession. They continue to invest in the lives of developing leaders and find real joy when young lives and leaders are accelerated towards God’s call on their lives.

Worship Leader
North Pointe Church, Edmonton
David Perez is the Creative Media Pastor at North Pointe Community Church in Edmonton. He is the proud husband to Delaney and father to Myles, as well as a very casual supporter of the Edmonton Oilers. He is passionate about seeing people find Christ, seeing young leaders grow, and building up the Church through creativity. He has always enjoyed worshiping Jesus through music, whether through singing or with a guitar, but his favourite way to worship is with a bass in his hands.

The fee for the Elements retreat is $80/person, which covers overnight accommodations, meals (excluding Saturday supper). The price is low, as we have sponsors to cover the remaining cost of the program.
