You and your team of leaders are invited to join us for Elements 2026. We will be hosting this three-day retreat at Sunnyside Christian Retreat Centre. This is a time for youth pastors and youth leaders in our District to connect, recharge, and ground themselves in the fundamental elements of ministry.

Adam Browett is the Lead Pastor of Calvary Temple in downtown Winnipeg and a passionate voice on faith, culture, and calling. With over 20 years of pastoral experience, Adam is known for his honest teaching and heart to equip the church to engage the grey areas of culture with clarity and courage. He speaks across Canada, challenging the church to live out their faith in the real, raw spaces of life. Adam lives in Winnipeg with his wife Shandy and their four children.

Worship & Young Adults Pastor
First Assembly Church, Calgary

Carly Cooper began leading worship at the age of 16 and has been passionately serving ever since. She is a member of the worship team at Tehillah Monday and First Assembly Church in Calgary, where her love for the presence of God continues to grow. With a background in the arts, Carly grew up dancing competitively and continues to teach at various studios in Calgary. 

Carly has toured with Tehillah Worship across Western Canada, leading at conferences and events. She also helps lead worship during the summers at Sunnyside Camp for both junior and senior high weeks. She has been involved with several Tehillah worship album projects, including Newness, Pruning, and the Devotional Album. In addition to serving in her local church, she writes and releases music under her own artist name, with more music planned for release this year. She’d love for your to take a listen!! 

A true creative at heart, Carly loves using her gifts to glorify God and create spaces for people to encounter His presence. Her hope is to see people experience the love of Jesus and spread JOY!!!

Located in the village of Birchcliff on the northern shores of Sylvan Lake, Sunnyside Christian Retreat Centre offers a secluded, winter meeting space equipped with cafeteria, tabernacle, dorm rooms, and private rooms.

q. What does my registration fee cover?

The fee for the Elements retreat is $75/person, which covers overnight accommodations, meals (excluding Saturday supper). The price is low, as we have sponsors to cover the remaining cost of the program.

q. What should I pack?
