You and your team of leaders are invited to join us for Elements 2024. We will be hosting this three-day retreat at Sunnyside Christian Retreat Centre. This is a time for youth pastors and youth leaders in our District to connect, recharge, and ground themselves in the fundamental elements of ministry.

Chantelle Young is an enthusiastic communicator, and her joy is contagious. She is passionate about reaching the next generation for Jesus and empowering other leaders. Chantelle is a wife, mother of four young children, kids pastor at Home Church Red Deer, and co-founder of a non-profit organization called Makaway. She has a Degree in Pastoral studies and Masters in Leadership and Management. Her hobbies include doing renovations with her husband, coffee with friends, and going on daily adventures with her kids.

Youth, Young Adults, and Family Ministries Director
BC/Yukon District of the PAOC
Allen is the Youth, Young Adults and Family Ministries Director in the BC/Yukon District of the PAOC (say that one 5 times fast!). He loves to travel, renovating, and any physical activity that gets his blood pumping! He has spent over 15 years working with youth ministries across BC and Alberta, both in the local church and at a District level. Even if that means he’s getting old, he still loves connecting with students and being a part of youth ministry! He is a huge fan of young people and believes that if the local church truly is the hope of the world, nextgen ministry must be the hope of the local church.

Worship Pastor
Hope City Church, Edmonton
Brett Woida is a Worship Pastor at Hope City Church Mill Woods Campus in Edmonton, where he overseas worship and tech in the church’s Next Gen ministries. He’s passionate about walking alongside the next generation to help them find their place in the church and grow in the giftings that God has given them.

The cost for the Elements retreat is $75/person, which covers overnight accommodations, meals (excluding Saturday supper), and the cost of putting on the program.
