CREDENTIAL aPPLICATION PROCESS

Congratulations on taking this next step toward PAOC credentials! We are delighted to support you through the credentialing process. Below you will find an overview of the application journey, including the required forms, supporting documents, and key steps to help you prepare your submission.

Most applicants complete these requirements over a period of time. You do not need to submit everything at once, and our team is available to assist you throughout the process.

Questions? If at any point you are unsure about a requirement or your situation does not fit neatly within these guidelines, please contact us at credential@abnwt.com. We would be happy to help.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

If you have not yet connected with the District Credential Specialist regarding your credentialing journey, we encourage you to do so before proceeding with your application. This initial conversation provides an opportunity to get acquainted, answer questions, review the credentialing process, and offer guidance specific to your ministry context and goals.

While applicants are welcome to begin gathering materials at any time, connecting early in the process helps ensure you have the information and support needed for a smooth application experience.

To arrange an introductory meeting, please contact credential@abnwt.com.

APPLICATION GUIDELINES

We recommend reviewing all application requirements before getting started, as some items, such as transcripts, references, and police checks, can take several weeks to obtain.

Personal Preparation

We value hearing your own voice, experiences, and convictions throughout this process. For that reason, we ask applicants not to use AI tools (such as ChatGPT) to write or refine their application materials. This helps us prayerfully and accurately discern your readiness for credentialing.

Submitting Your Application

Application materials may be submitted all at once or in stages as documents become available.

Please save all documents using the format LAST, FIRST_Document Name. Downloadable forms have already been set up using this naming convention. Simply replace the sample name with your own.

This naming convention helps us keep application materials organized as they are received.

Application forms and supporting documentation may be emailed to credential@abnwt.com or mailed to:

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

Your application will be considered complete once all required forms and supporting documentation have been received. After submission, we recommend keeping copies of all application materials for your records.

INTERVIEW

Once your application and all supporting documents have been received and reviewed, we will contact you to schedule an interview with the Credential Committee. Interviews are typically 45 minutes in length, and details regarding the date, time, and format will be provided in advance.

We look forward to getting to know you, hearing about your ministry journey, and learning more about the calling God has placed on your life.
