The table is being set in Banff, Alberta, for Ministers Gathering 2025. Every year, we take time as a region to gather, connect, worship and refuel for the task at hand, which is reaching the 4.9 million souls in the ABNWT region. This is our calling – this is our passion.

Ministers Gathering is an annual retreat for ABNWT ministers that focuses on refreshing, renewing, reconnecting, and retooling – our premier event for moving the mission forward. Here are five reasons you need to come to ministers gathering and bring your team.

We are better together. When you’re in ministry, it can seem lonely. Ministers Gathering is a time when over 500 of your ministry colleagues gather. It is a great opportunity to connect with old friends and meet new ones. The relationships that are formed at Ministers Gatherings endure for years to come as ministers form partnerships to help one another along the journey.
We focus on the whole family. Ministers Gathering is a party for all ages. We have children and youth programming designed to encourage and equip the next generation to love the Lord with all their hearts. Your family will be refreshed and renewed as they take in the various events designed just for them. This gathering is designed to engage everyone.
Time away benefits the church. In our line of work, we go, go, go. Taking time away to refresh, refuel and reconnect is so important for pastors and ministry leaders. It can seem like an indulgence to some, but getting away for a retreat-type event like Ministers Gathering will benefit the church tenfold as ministers come back ready to lead their congregation to reach their community.
Teamwork makes the dream work. When you go with your team, there is an amazing synergy that happens as you gather with other teams across the region. The team aspect of Ministers Gathering is a key benefit as church teams gather for meals, hikes, shared learning, and a shared spiritual experience that gets them moving on the same page. The journey is long, the task is huge. When we talk about reaching 4.9 million souls in our region, this is a huge task. Already in our region, 62% of our churches are growing by reaching lost people. Half a dozen of our churches are considering double services this coming year. We have thousands more recorded salvations and baptisms than ever before. And yet, the job is not finished. We need to be reminded that our job is to fulfill the Great Commission in the locales where we are placed. We share in that work together by sharing stories, resources, and learning that are geared toward being soul-winning, disciple-making churches.
