I am continually amazed by the ideas I am hearing about in our District for Easter events from drive-throughs to Easter box experiences and multiple services (keeping to that 15% capacity for the building)! We are a creative bunch here in Alberta!
There have been churches that have taken opportunities during COVID to reach out to their community and bring cheer through car parades, outdoor family events or drive-throughs, and even sending hand-made cards to a Care Home! Why not call your local school and see if they need any help? One church in Edmonton is a main supplier for the “Grab and Go” breakfast program for an inner-city school. Your community will appreciate practical help in these challenging times. Your church can really make a difference.
